Hair becomes drier, less shiny, and more noticeable when it turns grey after the age of 40. While we want to look attractive, we also don’t want to spend all day at the hair salon. Achieving the ideal hue frequently requires weekly touch-ups to keep it up.

Today I’m going to share with you five hair tones that help us appear younger and don’t require as many touch-ups if you want to look good without spending too much time on your hair.

Finding a balance between the hue that complements us and what we need to achieve that tone is the key.

1- Caramel colour

Halfway between beige and golden brown is this hue. It is highly sparkly and complements short hair, as seen in the photograph.

Let’s take note that only the hair that frames the face has been colored; the rest of the hair is still a dark color. Our hair is given a wide range of nuances thanks to this effect, and the tone only requires minimal touch-ups.

Caramel complements skin that is brown or tanned quite well. We shall appear younger because of the shine on our facial features.

2- Combination of brown tones

The roots of this hairstyle are dark brown, while the ends are lighter brown—not blonde—but still brown. The hair is illuminated by the degradé.

This shade is ideal for long hair. If your base color is brown, the subtle color change will prevent you from noticing a tone difference as your hair develops. This indicates that you can maintain it without making numerous repairs.

The tone gets darker, and the golden reflections get brighter in the sunlight.

3- Light brown

One of the simplest hair colors to maintain is this one. If we carefully examine the photograph, we will see that there are no significant tonal differences along the length of the hair. It does, however, have lighter accents that are faint.

In order to hide the contrast as the hair grows, the base color should be the same shade or lighter.

4- Soft black

This color is just a shade or two lighter than true black, giving it a softer texture and a more organic appearance. Even though the contrasts are almost at their maximum, the somber and elegant look is enhanced by cool-toned skin.

She shines out in the photo with jewelry and makeup while also appearing laid-back with straight hair that is parted to the side.

I advise it for women who already have dark hair because it’s simple to manage and doesn’t require many touch-ups.

5- Honey blonde colour

For the majority of women, I advise using this tone because it brings out the features and hides grey hair.

Even on long hair, honey blonde offers freshness and movement even though it is not a warm tone. In the image, we can see that the color ascends from the roots to the tips with a minor variation in hue.

Due to the lack of contrast, it is relatively simple to maintain and does not require regular trips to the salon.
